《胶囊计划》由来自各行业、具有成熟动画制作经验的专业团队，不限形式、风格完成独立短片创作。这是中国原创动画的一次探索，每部作品都是中国动画的一个创意脑洞。 第二季利用短片特点拓展了观众对于国产动画的想象，既有探讨科技意识的科幻片、也有聚焦女性自我表达于和解的成长片、更有对弱势群体的人文关怀片，画风更是囊括了国风水墨、吉卜力式绘本风、黑白高反差的复古风。。Guy Maddin writes, "Tscherkassky has made two films cannibalizing Sidney J.
