In this stop-motion holiday special, Mickey, Minnie and their pals attempt to celebrate the perfect Christmas at their snowy cabin. However, when Pluto causes Santa to lose all the presents on his sleigh, the friends travel to the North Pole on a quest to save Christmas and find the true meaning of the holiday.。正直善良的藤野兆治（高仓健 饰）因与上司发生分歧离开了工作多年的函谷船坞，在此之后他和妻子茂子（加藤登纪子 饰）自食其力，开了一家小酒馆。当初工厂里的朋友岩下（田中邦卫 饰）、秋本（小松正夫 饰）等人经常来此喝酒聊天，小酒馆内充满欢快温馨的气息。
兆治早年的恋人小夜（大原丽子 饰）如今是神谷牧场的女主人。曾经贫困潦倒的生活迫使两个相爱之人分开。时间并未冲淡留在彼此心中的情感，兆治和小夜始终依恋着对方，只因各自的家庭他们只有将这份感情深深埋藏。一场大火烧毁神谷牧场，为婚姻所苦的小夜终于解脱，远走札幌。即便如此，对恋人强烈的思念仍促使她打去一通通无言的电话……
