曾经，因为不满宙斯的残暴统治，由麒麟由达（石田彰 配音）和凤凰路卡（绿川光 配音）带领的天使们开始了反抗天界的叛乱。作为敌对方，天界派出了青龙豪（森川智之 配音），玄武真（樱井孝宏 配音），朱雀礼（宫田幸季 配音）和白虎凯（吉野裕行 配音）四圣兽来镇压叛乱，最终，由达和路卡被封印，而四圣兽也因为各自的原因而封印了能力流落到人间。
