武林高手上官星宇追赶黑衣人途中遭遇一场命案，死者死相怪异，引起了他的好奇心。没想到这只是一连串凶杀案的开始，紧接着出现了密室杀人、医馆惨案，几桩案件的线索都指向了“蝴蝶作案”，大理寺众人深陷谜案之中，师妹莫昭言也身陷危机。上官星宇受托于大理寺调查此案，与南疆奇女、大理寺少卿等人建立破案小组。他们能否拨开层层迷雾，打破僵局查出真凶？。故事讲述了设计师水岛悟（二宫和也饰）在咖啡厅遇上了神秘女性美雪（波瑠饰），他被与自己价值观相同的美雪所吸引。随后主动提出交换联络方式，但美雪婉拒：想见的时候，我们可以相见的。于是两人每周四都在咖啡厅相见，感情越来越深。不过水岛悟准备向美雪求婚的时候，美雪却没有出现在周四的咖啡厅里…… 影片根据北野武同名小说改编。。The Greenhouse is a magic-realist drama that centres on the eldest child of two women, Beth, who discovers a portal into the past on their family property.
