(Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。《高米迪战士》讲述在神秘的格尔木大陆之中，因为熔岩之国的高米迪马革尔叛变，要窃取格尔木水晶据为己有，从而统治整个格尔木大陆，但是被其他高米迪联手击败封印在了深渊之中，格尔木水晶分裂成为四个碎片被埋藏在了高墙之下。很多年以后，阿戈穆得到了格尔木碎片之中的格尔木之石，成为大地高米迪，而此时深渊之中的马革尔也派了他的手下前去抢夺格尔木之石，阿戈穆在神秘的贤者指引下，找到了诺克提斯、皮隆、塔萨儒等其他的高米迪领主，他们四个伙伴在贤者的帮助下，最后融合在一起，成功的击败了马革尔，粉碎了马革尔要统治格尔木大陆的阴谋，而阿戈穆等人也化身为自然之王，成为了格尔木大陆的拯救者和保护者。。
