昔日的广东十虎铁桥三厌倦世事争端，与女儿如花隐居小镇。恶霸毛良抢走了铁桥三的大洋，被铁桥三痛打，毛良借此在富家公子冯十二面前诬告铁桥三。十二找到铁桥三比试，惨败后拜师门下，在学艺过程中，卷入铁桥三和北派猴拳王的争斗当中，并与铁桥三的女儿如花发展成恋人。。该电影以1942年侵华日军对我太行山区进行疯狂扫荡为背景，结合山西长治地区真实存在的感人故事，以纪实手法讲述了在山西屯留老爷山的一场突围中，由韩少峰等人组成的侦查小分队在归队途中，意外发现日军驻地囚禁着十几名群众。为了营救并保护群众撤离敌占区与日军展开殊死搏斗的故事。。A mother and a daughter struggle to climb the Swiss Alps while they dig into a past that the mother has spent years suppressing.
