Mustafa Kemal had just begun his journey after proving himself in 1915 at the Gallipoli front. He would go on to face major battles on the eastern front against the Russians and later against the British in Syria, ultimately becoming the only Ottoman officer not to lose a battle during WW1.。故事发生在一艘正在驶往波士顿的游轮上。半路上，邮轮遭遇了猛烈的风暴袭击，最终导致了抛锚。船只产生了裂缝，大量的海水开始渗入船体内部，如果不加以控制的话，整艘邮轮都将有沉没的风险。雷是船上职位最高的船员，这也就意味着，他对于船上30名船员的生命有着不可推卸的责任。经验丰富的雷决定不坐以待毙，而是带领船员们展开了自救行动。
